Dr. Grace A. Thompson Corbett is a native of Washington, DC. She completed her formal education in the DC Public School System, graduating from Eastern Senior High School. Dr. Grace attended and graduated from various educational institutions, conferring various degrees, 7 of which are PhDs. Among her educational accomplishments, Dr. Corbett worked for various companies in Washington, DC (The Greater Washington Urban League, Episcopal Senior Ministries, Seabury Resources for Aging, Andrene's Caribbean/Soul Food Carryout Restaurant, Melvin's Floor Installation Services, Family and Healthcare Solutions and Community Connections, Inc) and Melwood, Inc. of Upper Marlboro, MD. In April of 2016, she became an entrepreneur. To complete this process, she merged her 5 businesses which operate under the name Corbett Enterprises, Inc. This agency generates administrative support for churches and small businesses. In February 2020, Dr. Grace noticed that business was slow and decided to rebrand her idea of income generation. It was then that she became an Independent Contractor for various companies to keep her established business afloat. These businesses include AVON: GRACE THOMPSON-CORBETT's Avon Online Store); an online beauty supply store owner (Gracious Pearls of Beauty: Gracious Pearls of Beauty Shop (mybeautysite.com),and jesuspirit.com God continues to open doors for her business ventures.
Dr. Corbett was filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 9 in her aunt's home. Grace was ordained a minister in August of 2015 under the Presiding Prelate of the United Fellowship Alliance (UFA) who is also the Founder and Pastor of the Highway to Heaven Holiness Church of Upper Marlboro, MD, Bishop Leroy Colter. Over the course of 3 years, God caused her ministry to expand. Upon the leading of the Lord, she was instructed to assist and later join Soul Saving Holiness Church of Upper Marlboro, MD. In June of 2018 she was ordained an elder under the leadership of the church's Founder, the late Dr. Joseph Sistrunk. Once again, Dr. Corbett was on the move, spiritually relocating to Centreville, VA. Currently, she serves as an associate elder and the administrative assistant for the music ministry at The Church of the Blessed Trinity under the leadership of its Founder and Pastor, Bishop Floyd B. Brown, Jr.
Dr. Grace A. Corbett is married to Mr. Melvin Corbett; together they have 10 children and 5 grandchildren, with 1 transitioning June of 2021. The couple and their last 6 children live in Camp Springs, MD.
